March H2 Recap
We had an excellent turnout for our March 2015 H2ATX at the Tiniest Bar in Texas. The outdoor patio was taken over by young professions from various industries, spanning from advertising, web development, and the Austin startup scene.
H2 happy hours are always free and open to anyone who wants to attend, which allows our members to mingle with a more diverse group of young professionals.
Before I even ordered my first drink I had already met five H2 newcomers, three dogs, two foreign transplants to Austin, and two San Marcos residents.
Interesting conversation was easy to come by given the assortment of occupations in attendance at this happy hour! I got great recommendations on where to buy the best jewelry in ATX and even about the best type of chat platforms for web developers (I’ll keep that one in my back pocket if I ever decide to learn Java).
Since the Tiniest Bar in Texas was so accommodating, our members got to enjoy some really great drink specials! The funnest drink on the menu featured Deep Eddy’s newest lemon vodka flavor: A Tipsy Palmer with lemon vodka and fresh iced tea. That drink was made for breezy spring weather. If the Tiniest Bar had a tiny hammock, I think I might have retreated to it and fallen asleep. The weather was THAT perfect!
Alas, there was no tiny hammock and I did stay awake through through the happy hour to find some fellow attendees walking by with absolutely appetizing food. Austin’s Habibi and Super Burrito are both located within the Tiniest Bar in Texas’ patio which made this hot spot an excellent place to grab drinks, dinner, and shake a few new hands.
Thanks to everyone who joined us! We look forward to seeing you at our April H2. Stay tuned for more information about the location.
