Sara is a 23-year-old Account Service Intern at Slingshot and is on the Student Relations Board for AD2ATX. She is originally from Sparks, Nevada and moved here for Grad school at UT after attending undergrad at Trinity University in San Antonio. For a semester, Sara studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland where she worked at an Irish art gallery and learned to professionally frame paintings.  She’s excited to help get other students involved in AD2ATX and looks forward to meeting more industry folks at the next event!

• Where is your hometown?

I’m originally from Sparks, Nevada.

I’ve lived in Austin for a little over a year now after moving from San Antonio where I went to undergrad.

• Where did you attend college?

Trinity University in San Antonio, TX

• What compelled you to join the coolest board in Austin?

I’m a brand new board member. I decided to join because AD2ATX is such a great way to meet with other people in the advertising industry and I wanted to be able to help get other students involved in this awesome organization.

• Favorite person/brand to follow on social media?

I follow a lot of food and stationery brands, especially on IG. My favorites right now at the feed feed (@thefeedfeed) and Natalie Coulter (@mintandmaple).

• Something we don’t know?

I studied abroad in Dublin and worked at an Irish art gallery where I learned to professionally frame paintings.
